October - Fresh off the Press
One of our favorite parts of being cookbook-obsessed is discovering the titles that make us want to cook, gather, and share. Each month we’ll be rounding up the cookbooks that have caught our eye. This roundups consist of books we’re eager to dive into, bake from, or plan a dinner party around. There’s something magical about opening a new cookbook and reading it from cover to cover - the way stories, recipes, and even headnotes weave together into a world of food and gathering. Sometimes it’s a guide for weeknight dinners; sometimes, it’s a window into another culture; and sometimes, it’s just a reminder that food is one of the best ways we connect with one another.
This month’s stack feels especially rich: global flavors, soulful comfort food, baking big and small, and big-picture stories about food, identity and hospitality.
